This notice explains how Shenzhen Informic Electronic Limited ("Informic", "we", "us") handles personal information when you subscribe to our Daily Electronics Intelligence or Biweekly Component Stock & Availability email briefings.
1. Who is responsible for your information

2. Information we collect
When you subscribe, we collect your email address, the briefing topics you select, the date and time of the request and confirmation, the form used, and technical records needed to secure the service and demonstrate consent. Brevo also records operational events such as delivery, bounce, complaint, unsubscribe and link activity. An open event may be recorded when the receiving email application permits it.
3. Why we use it
We use this information to confirm your subscription, send only the briefings you requested, maintain your preferences, prevent misuse, avoid duplicate or unwanted messages, understand whether the service is operating correctly, and honour unsubscribe or privacy requests. Purchased, scraped, customer-project and unrelated contact lists are not added to this newsletter service.
4. Consent and double opt-in
We send these optional marketing and market-intelligence emails only after you select at least one topic, agree to receive it and confirm your address through the double opt-in email. Until you confirm, the address is not eligible for a campaign. You can withdraw consent at any time through an unsubscribe link or by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before it.
5. Service provider and international processing
We use Brevo to host the subscription form, maintain subscriber lists, record confirmation, deliver messages and manage preferences and unsubscribes. Brevo processes subscriber data for us under its data-processing terms. Processing may involve countries other than the one where you live, using the contractual and organisational safeguards described in Brevo's privacy information and DPA guidance.
6. How long we keep it
We keep an active subscriber record while you remain subscribed. We retain confirmation and essential delivery records for as long as reasonably needed to operate the service, resolve complaints, demonstrate consent and meet applicable obligations. When you unsubscribe, we retain the minimum suppression record needed to prevent accidental re-addition or further marketing. We delete or anonymise other information when it is no longer needed for these purposes.
7. Your choices and rights
You can change your briefing preferences or unsubscribe using the links in each email. Depending on the law that applies to you, you may also ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or receive a copy of your personal information, or object to certain uses. 8. Automated decisions
The newsletter service does not use subscriber information to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. Topic choices only determine which requested briefing list may send you an email.
9. Security and unsubscribe
We use double opt-in, restricted account access, authenticated sending domains, suppression controls and secure credential storage. Every campaign includes an unsubscribe mechanism. No online service is completely risk-free, but we review these safeguards and limit access to people who need it to operate the service.
10. Changes to this notice
We will update this notice if the information collected, purpose, service provider, tracking configuration, retention approach or contact details materially change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
