What Happens After You Send an RFQ?
Informic reviews the submitted requirement against the exact manufacturer, MPN, package, quantity, required date, delivery country and stated quality or traceability needs. Missing data, constrained lines and buyer-review alternates are separated before the next step.
For PCB or PCBA projects, the review also checks whether the board, placement, assembly and test files are complete enough for a useful quote. Optional inspection or external test work is scoped only when requested and accepted for the project.

Can I request a quote without a file?
Yes. Enter the manufacturer, full part number, quantity, required date and delivery country. Attach a file when the request has multiple lines or board data.
Which file formats can I upload?
The BOM field accepts XLS, XLSX, CSV, PDF, ZIP, RAR and TXT files. The PCB/Gerber field accepts ZIP, RAR, 7Z, PDF, GER, GBR, GBX, DRL and DXF files, up to the displayed form limit.
Can Informic review incomplete or obsolete lines?
Yes. Missing data and lifecycle risk can be marked for follow-up. Any suggested alternate remains subject to buyer engineering approval.
Can I send PCBA build files?
Yes. Attach the Gerber package and include BOM, CPL/XY, assembly drawing, quantity, inspection and test requirements whenever available.
