Do you provide samples before mass production?
Yes, we can provide samples of most components and also build a small batch of PCBA prototypes. For samples, we ask that you cover the shipping cost and the component cost if the parts are expensive. The prototype assembly is a paid service, but we deduct that cost from the first production order if you proceed with us. We do not offer free samples for custom parts because that is not sustainable for either side.
How do you handle parts that are on allocation or end-of-life?
We flag these in the RFQ response. For allocation parts, we give you the manufacturer’s official lead time and suggest alternates. For end-of-life parts, we help you find a drop-in replacement or redesign the footprint if needed. We do not hoard parts or create artificial scarcity. What is your typical response time for a full BOM quote?
For a BOM with 50 to 200 line items, we usually send a preliminary quote within two business days.
